Eddie Van Halen: the music world has lost an innovator!

#EddieVanHalen has influenced generations of #guitarists with his #guitar playing. His way of handling the #instrument in a playful and easy way at such a high speed was sensational. He constantly tinkered with his #guitars and his stripe design of the “Frankenstein” was probably one of, if not the very first hot rod #electricguitar.

Furthermore, his use of #Marshall#amplifiers was equally unique and coined the term “brown sound”. Undervoltage power supplies provided the strongest power #amp compression and overdrive producing a #sound pressure level that hardly anyone before him knew.

If the term “guitar hero” applies to anyone, it is Eddie Van Halen.
