Raising funds for The Teenage Cancer Trust

The Style Selektors single which is a cover of the Curtis Mayfield classic “Move On Up” is raising funds for The Teenage Cancer Trust and features some very special guests. We are happy to be part of it

We had the pleasure of recording Jennie Matthias otherwise known as Jennie Belle Star for a charity single Curtis Mayfields’ “Move On Up” that would hopefully raise lots of needed funds for The Teenage Cancer Trust. Jennie was the vocalist for 80s superstars The Belle Stars who were formed by ex-members of legendary band The Bodysnatchers.

As well as the amazing Jennie Matthias this single also features 2Tone legend Dave Wakeling from The Beat and the fantastic Aziz Ibrahim from Simply Red, Paul Weller and The Stone Roses.

The Style Selektors single which is a cover of the Curtis Mayfield classic “Move On Up” will be available on iTunes and Amazon for around 79p May/June.
