On the 1st of May, BonaFideStudio turns 26 — and what a journey it’s been.

We first opened our doors in Shoreditch, back when the area was still a hidden gem buzzing with underground creativity and raw potential. For 10 glorious years, we thrived there: recording, collaborating and building a name in the heart of London’s ever-evolving music scene.

Then came the next chapter: Muswell Hill. A change of scenery, but not of spirit. Tucked away in this leafy corner of North London, we found a new rhythm. One filled with fresh energy, new voices and the same unwavering passion for sound.

From those early days of analogue tapes and late-night sessions to today’s blend of cutting-edge technology and timeless creativity, we’ve remained a haven for artists, musicians and storytellers of every kind.

Over the past two and a half decades, we’ve had the honour of capturing countless sonic moments — from first takes to final masters, quiet reflections to bold anthems. Whether it’s been a music track, a voiceover, a podcast, or a passion project, BonaFideStudio has always been about bringing ideas to life with heart and precision.

But what makes 26 years truly special? The people. Our clients, collaborators, engineers, producers and every single creative soul who’s walked through our doors — you’ve all helped shape this space into more than a studio. You’ve made it a home.
